Forklift Remanufacturing Overview

Forklifts are widely used for cargo stacking, loading and unloading in warehouses, ports and yards. Frequent lifting, steering and start-stop operations cause wear on lifting hydraulic assemblies, steering components, drive axles and mast structures.
REMAN ROAD standardized forklift remanufacturing process renews all vulnerable parts comprehensively, bringing lifting capacity, operational safety and overall stability back to original factory new equipment standards.

Step 1: Incoming Inspection & Equipment Condition Evaluation

Record total working hours, mast deformation, lifting performance, engine/battery status, steering and brake conditions of used forklifts. Screen out severely damaged units that cannot be restored, and customize targeted remanufacturing schemes based on wear conditions.

Step 2: Complete Non-Destructive Whole Machine Disassembly

Fully disassemble the mast, lifting hydraulic system, power unit, drive axle, steering mechanism and electrical parts. All detached components are numbered, sorted and archived, divided into restorable parts, parts to be replaced and intact reusable parts.

Step 3: Deep Overall Cleaning & Rust Removal Treatment

Sandblast and steam clean the vehicle frame and mast to remove rust, paint peeling and long-term oil dirt. Precision hydraulic valves, cylinders and gear parts are cleaned ultrasonically to clear internal impurities and sludge thoroughly.

Step 4: Mast Inspection & Structural Calibration

Check the inner and outer masts for bending deformation, crack damage and roller wear. Correct deformed mast structures, replace worn side rollers and chain assemblies to ensure smooth vertical lifting without jitter or deviation during cargo handling.

Step 5: Lifting Hydraulic System Full Renewal

Disassemble and inspect lifting cylinders, tilt cylinders and hydraulic pumps. All aging oil seals, hydraulic pipes and sealing fittings are 100% replaced. Calibrate hydraulic pressure to eliminate insufficient lifting force, slow tilting and hydraulic oil leakage.

Step 6: Steering & Brake System Overhaul

Disassemble steering gears and steering linkages to replace worn pin shafts and bushings for flexible steering response. Renew brake pads, brake cylinders and hydraulic brake components to guarantee sensitive, reliable braking under full-load lifting conditions.

Step 7: Power System Maintenance & Performance Recovery

For internal combustion forklifts: overhaul engine internal consumables, adjust fuel supply to maintain stable power output; For electric forklifts: inspect battery health, repair motor and controller systems to restore rated load capacity.

Step 8: Standard Assembly & Electrical System Renewal

Reassemble all components strictly following OEM torque and assembly requirements. Replace aging wiring harnesses, switches and instrument parts to guarantee accurate display and stable electronic control.

Step 9: Full-Load Lifting Durability Test

Carry out repeated full-load lifting, tilting, stacking and travelling cycle tests. Verify rated lifting capacity, travelling stability, steering flexibility and braking safety to pass all factory acceptance indicators.

Step 10: Finishing Painting, Traceability Marking & Warranty Delivery

Complete anti-rust primer and topcoat painting for the whole machine, paste exclusive traceability serial codes. Sort all inspection and replacement documents, and provide global official warranty services for logistics, warehouse and industrial clients worldwide.
