Telescopic Handler Remanufacturing Process

Follow the standardized excavator remanufacturing process of REMAN ROAD. We conduct full disassembly, structural flaw detection, hydraulic system calibration and 72-hour full-load testing to restore excavators to OEM performance with complete traceable records and reliable global warranty.

Telescopic Handler Remanufacturing Overview

Telescopic handlers rely on extendable booms to carry out high-altitude stacking, bulk material handling and loading tasks across construction sites, farms and warehouses. Long-term variable load lifting frequently triggers telescopic boom deformation, hydraulic system pressure loss, chassis wear and transmission aging.
REMAN ROAD precise telescopic handler remanufacturing process calibrates the core telescopic lifting assembly and renews all vulnerable components, restoring lifting capacity, boom extension precision and driving stability to brand-new OEM specifications.

Step 1: Incoming Inspection & Working Condition Evaluation

Record total operating hours, telescopic boom straightness, maximum lifting performance, engine condition, hydraulic synchronization and chassis wear status. Eliminate severely deformed units beyond repair, and customize exclusive remanufacturing plans according to different wear degrees and application scenarios.

Step 2: Complete Non-Destructive Whole Machine Disassembly

Fully disassemble the multi-stage telescopic boom, lifting hydraulic assembly, power system, gearbox, drive chassis, steering and electrical components. All detached spare parts are numbered, sorted and archived into three categories: repairable parts, scrapped replacement parts and intact reusable parts.

Step 3: In-depth Deep Cleaning & Rust Removal Treatment

Sandblasting and high-pressure steam cleaning are used on the main frame and telescopic boom sections to remove rust, dust, oil sludge and faded paint. Precision hydraulic cylinders, plunger pumps and transmission gears undergo ultrasonic cleaning to thoroughly clear internal metal debris and residual grime.

Step 4: Telescopic Boom Calibration & Structural Crack Repair

Perform full non-destructive flaw detection on all boom sections, hinge joints and sliding supports to check hidden fatigue cracks. Straighten bent boom sections via precision correction technology, repair cracks with structural welding, and replace worn sliding pads and rollers to guarantee smooth extension & retraction without jamming or shaking.

Step 5: Lifting & Extension Hydraulic System Overall Renewal

Disassemble main lifting cylinders, telescopic extension cylinders and multi-way control valves. All aged oil seals, hydraulic hoses and sealing accessories are fully replaced. Calibrate hydraulic pressure and flow balance to solve insufficient lifting force, slow boom stretching and hydraulic oil leakage faults.

Step 6: Four-Wheel Steering & Travel System Overhaul

Inspect steering axles, steering cylinders and wheel reducers comprehensively. Renew worn pin shafts, bushings and bearings, adjust steering clearance to achieve flexible four-wheel steering, adapting to narrow-site flexible operation demands.

Step 7: Transmission System Maintenance & Power Debugging

Overhaul the power shift gearbox and transfer case, replace worn gears and friction plates, adjust meshing clearance to realize smooth shifting and stable power output under variable heavy loads.

Step 8: Engine Overhaul & Continuous Power Recovery

Replace engine internal consumables including cylinder liners, piston rings and filters, clean fuel injection systems and calibrate fuel supply parameters. The engine maintains steady power output during frequent lifting and travelling cycles.

Step 9: Standard OEM Assembly & Electrical System Upgrade

Reassemble all components strictly following original factory torque standards and assembly sequence. Replace aging wiring harnesses, angle sensors and control panels to ensure accurate boom length display and sensitive operation response.

Step 10: Full-Load Lifting & Extension Durability Test

Carry out repeated full-load lifting, high-altitude stacking, boom stretching and off-road travelling cyclic tests. Check rated load capacity, boom precision, steering flexibility and braking safety; only qualified equipment is allowed to leave the factory.

Step 11: Anti-corrosion Finishing, Traceability Marking & Warranty Delivery

Complete whole vehicle anti-rust primer and wear-resistant topcoat painting, paste exclusive traceability codes. Collate all inspection records and parts replacement documents, and provide official global after-sales warranty for agricultural, construction and logistics clients worldwide.
